Barack Obama Shares His 2020 Summer Playlist

Barack Obama, the Former President of the U.S is out with his 2020 summer playlist, taking us all by surprise. Last year, when Obama dropped his 2019 playlist, we realized that he's got a fantastic taste in music. And, this year he's outdone himself once more!

Barack Obama claims to have spent his quarantine, listening to music with his family. And, yet again, he's leading us with his diverse personalized playlist as he took to his Instagram to share the list of songs.

Barack Obama captioned the list, "Over the past few months, I’ve spent a lot of time listening to music with my family. I wanted to share some of my favorites from the summer-including songs from some of the artists performing at this week’s @DemConvention. As always, it's a mix of genres that travels through various eras. I think there's something in here for everybody––hope you enjoy it."

Barack Obama has Leon Bridges, Common, John Legend, The Chicks, Billie Eilish, Maggie Rogers, Billy Porter and more on his playlist. Some others include Rihanna, Drake, Beyonce, Megan Thee Stallion, Bob Marley, Shatta Wale, Major Lazer, J Balvin, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny, Tainy and Chika.

You can easily see how spread out his choice of music is, from 'Savage' to 'Could You Be Loved', he's taking you on a roller coaster of genres and moods.

Barack Obama's 2019 Playlist

Barack Obama is made sure that everyone knows his favourite books, movies, and songs. Even in 2019, he took to his Instagram to share a list of his go-to tracks which took everyone by surprise. It featured an Indian artist and that too, an independent singer, Prateek Kuhad. The other artists on the list were J Cole, Young Thug, Burna Boy, Beyonce, Lizzo, and more.

As we start adding these songs to our own playlist, we've once again got to admire Barack Obama's taste in music.
