Beach House and Ye Seen In The Studios Together

Ye appears to be in the studio with Beach House, a Baltimore dream-pop duo. It’s possible that an unexpected collaboration is on the way. Beach House – Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally – are presently on tour in the United States in support of their new double album ‘Once Twice Melody,’ and will be performing in Madison, Wisconsin and St. Paul, Minnesota this weekend.

According to Stereogum, Ye released a couple of images of him in the studio with the duo on Instagram on 26th February, which have subsequently been confirmed as genuine by John Cunningham, a producer on ‘DONDA 2’.

It’s unclear whether the photographs were shot yesterday or if the artists had previously worked together in the studio, although Ye looked to be wearing the same attire in both the studio photos and Instagram Live on the same day.

Meanwhile, Ye has updated his Stem Player platform to add 12 additional songs to ‘DONDA 2’, bringing the total number of songs to 16. It’s unclear whether or not this is the complete album.

There are six more tracks that could be added to the mix in the near future, according to a provisional tracklist for ‘DONDA 2’ shared by Ye last week. However, none of those songs were performed at Ye’s Miami show on Tuesday (February 22).

The album, Ye’s 11th and a straight follow-up to last year’s ‘DONDA,’ is only available through the platform, which is exclusive to the rapper’s Yeezy Tech company and costs $200 (£150). Following a listening party and live performance in Miami the night before, Stem Player owners were given access to four tracks from the album, including ‘Security,’ ‘Pablo,’ ‘Broken Road,’ and ‘We Did It Kid.’
