Bebe Rexha Incident Deemed “Terrible” by DaBaby: “I Don’t Think Phones Should Be Thrown”

DaBaby had a point to make about fans who toss objects during concerts. Days after Bebe Rexha was harmed by a fan tossing a phone on stage, DaBaby shared his thoughts about the situation.
“That’s terrible,” the rapper stated. “I don’t think phones should be thrown. I don’t.”
DaBaby had a suggestion for what supporters could do with their phones and other gadgets. “I think they should be used to call the fireman, she a hot girl. Come and shake some,” he said, referencing lyrics from his track ‘SHAKE SUMN’.
When Rexha was performing at Manhattan’s The Rooftop at Pier 17, a phone tossing incident occurred. According to the NYPD’s preliminary inquiry, Nicolas Malvagna, a 27-year-old resident of New Jersey, “intentionally threw a cell phone” at the 33-year-old ‘I’m a Mess’ singer. She was struck in the face and required stitches in a medical facility.
The Manhattan District Attorney’s office said Malvagna explained to them, “I was trying to see if I could hit her with the phone at the end of the show because it would be funny.” He is facing many charges in the court.
DaBaby had his own encounters with objects being hurled in his direction, such as the time when a shoe was thrown at him while he was performing at Rolling Loud Miami in 2021.
