Ben Affleck and Son Samuel, 12, Enjoy Rare Courtside Outing to Cheer on the Lakers

Recently,  Ben Affleck went to the Los Angeles Lakers game versus the Toronto Raptors to spend time with his son Samuel. The two delighted in their courtside seats, grinning and laughing as they made their infrequent public appearance. The focus of this outing is Affleck's connection with his son, Samuel, whom he shares with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. In addition, Affleck and Garner have two kids, Violet, 18, and Seraphina, 15.

The father-son interaction coincides with Affleck's ongoing divorce proceedings from Jennifer Lopez, who filed for one in August. Lopez, who is close to Affleck's kids, has shown her continued love and concern for them in spite of their breakup.

A recent insider report claims that Lopez stays in touch with the children and lets them know they can get in touch at any moment. According to the source, Lopez is doing well since she is not concentrating on the past but rather on her thankfulness for the present. Her family is also supported; Lopez's sister Lynda recently paid a visit to Affleck's daughter Violet at Yale University and even shared a sweet photo from the occasion.

Even while he and Lopez complete their divorce, Affleck's attempts to make time for his kids show how committed he is to them. It's evident that both families are dedicated to maintaining close ties for the children's welfare because Lopez continues to interact with the Affleck children and receives encouraging visits from her family.
