Big Sean Opens Up About His Track With Nipsey Hussel

Big Sean is ready to share his fifth studio album, “Detroit 2” on September 4, 2020. Ever since he released ‘Overtime’ last year, out of nowhere, fans had been wondering what more will drop.

On August 24, 2020, Big Sean came out with ‘Deep Reverence‘, a collaborative track with the late rapper, Nipsey Hussel. Soon after that, the singer sent out several tweets regarding the reason behind dropping the track.

Big Sean took to Twitter to explain how some people from his label thought that it wasn’t right to release a single ahead of the album. But he made it clear that it wasn’t like they were having problems as at the end, they stood by him.

The decision to release the track has been very intuitive for Big Sean. Apparently, he’s followed his heart and guts to release the single and also believes that Nipsey’s voice was needed to be heard in the current moment.

In his next tweet, Big Sean just puts out his feelings about gratitude towards his fans and supporters. He believes that they’ve given him the conformation to be able to follow his own guts.

We think it was right for Big Sean to follow his heart and do what was right by him. We love the track even more after reading the story behind it.
