Billie Eilish Ain’t The Bad Guy (Duh)

Billie EIlish has had enough, and she’s saying so.

The 18 year old pop star has never shied away from voicing her opinions and today is no different. The Grammy winner took to her Instagram to call out a copycat Billie Eilish who took to the streets to shoot an entire video as Billie – enjoying all the perks that come with being a multi-platinum recording artist.

Eilish posted screenshots to her Instagram stories calling the woman out. Have a look.

This isn’t the first time the star has been impersonated – it’s a popular trend on YouTube and both Billie and her true fans do not appreciate the trend. Hundreds of fans end up believing that they have seen or met Billie, when in reality they haven’t. Further, some impersonators behave rudely, making fans believe that it is the stars themselves being unkind.

All in all, the trend seems like the ultimate expression of click bait culture. Maybe imitation isn’t the best form of flattery afterall?
