Billie Eilish Announces That Work Has Started on Her New Album

Billie Eilish confirmed speculations that she is working on her next album along with brother, Finneas, with whom she shares a very close bond.

The singer-songwriter will be seen performing at the Prince William’s Earthshot Prize awards this week. She will be joined by other performers such as, Ellie Goulding, Chloe X Halle and Annie Lennox. Her co-hosts for the ceremony are Clara Amfo and Daniel Dae Kim. Sir David Attenborough will also be in attendance and will deliver closing remarks.

Two ‘Happier Than Ever’ tour dates were announced, for L.A this December. Her second and most recent album, ‘Happier Than Ever’, was released in July 2021. It was written with her brother Finneas O’Connell, with whom she famously collaborates and performs with.

Her first album, titled ‘When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We go?’ was critically acclaimed and praised for it’s lyrics and production. It received a total of 7 nominations at the 64th annual Grammy awards, including the Song and Album of the year.

The 20-year-old’s most famous songs, such as ‘Lovely’ and ‘Bad Guy’, have broken multiple records. She boasts an Instagram following of 107 million and is friends with some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Justin Bieber. Billie recently landed in hot water over her relationship with ‘The Neighbourhood’ frontman, Jesse Rutherford, over their large age-gap.
