Billie Eilish dropped “Everything I wanted,” co- written and produced by Eilish’s older brother, Finneas, and it already has 1.5 million viewers on YouTube. It marks her first new track since the release of her debut album “When we all fall asleep, where do we go?”.
According to a press release, “everything I wanted” was recorded at both Eilish and Finneas’ home studio in Highland Park and on the road, this past summer. The single is a touching tribute to their kinship, as Eilish revealed, “This song is one my brother and I wrote about each other. No matter what happens., he always has been and will be there to make it better”.
Her eccentric style and mellow music gained a following in 2016 when she released her single, “Ocean Eyes”. She made it big with her song, “Bad Guy” which garnered a lot of positive reviews and notched the No.1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. And we are expecting “Everything I wanted” to blast the charts as well, as one of her fans tweeted: “IT’S LITERALLY EVERYTHING I’VE WANTED”.
Aah, the enthusiasm never ends! Well, if you haven’t checked out her new track, it’s high time you do!
