Billie Eilish Launches Vegan Air Jordan Line
Billie Eilish has debuted her own line of Nike trainers and the best part of it, they are 100% Vegan and PETA approved!
The ‘Happier Than Ever’ singer took to her social media on Tuesday(Sept 21) to announce her new merch with a photo of herself in a pair of lime green trainers.” i am SO excited to finally share my two air jordan silhouettes with you!! i’ve always loved @jumpman23 ? and it was such an incredible and surreal experience getting to create these, especially in a sustainable fashion (100% vegan with over 20% recycled material)”, she captioned the post.
The trainers will be available from September 27th via Eilish’s official store and on Nike SNKRS on September 30th.
The singer had recently attended the MET Gala where she ditched her signature baggy outfits and walked the red carpet in a stunning peach gown from Oscar de La Renta. Eilish had given the label an ultimatum to stop using fur if she were to wear their outfit for the event. Ultimately, the label agreed and it now joins a long list of other luxury brands such as Versace, Michael Kors and Giorgio Armani who are also anti-fur.
