Billie Eilish Teases New Song ‘my future’

Last week witnessed a flood of new music from the likes of Maroon 5, Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift and a string of other artists. And now, this week has already arrived with a similar promise. In other words, Billie Eilish just resurfaced with news of her upcoming single.

The young star broke the news on social media with a simple tweet stating the title of her new tune – ‘my future’. And this one’s slated to drop on the 30th, this Thursday. The star paired this tweet with an update on Instagram too. Eilish posted a picture of herself, clad in a grey hoodie, tracks and a face mask. Her caption read the same.

Billie Eilish has been absent from the music scene since her last release, ‘No Time to Die,’ which features in the final Bond film. While it’s all silent on the music front, the star has still been quite active on social media, particularly in relation to the #BlackLivesMatter movement. Between spilling her unfiltered thoughts on the issue and providing links to organizations one can donate to – Eilish has been incredibly proactive.

On a lighter note, amid binging ‘The Office’ for the 15th time during quarantine, Eilish also jumped aboard a 12-part podcast based on the series. Titled, ‘An Oral History of the Office,’ it features everyone from Steve Carell to John Krasinski to Rainn Wilson – all discussing their favourite storylines in the show.

Now circling back to ‘my future,’ while we have no information on the concept behind the song, perhaps we can atleast cross our fingers and hope that it finds a space on an album.
