Billie Eillish and Alicia Keys get Late

The Late Late Show had quite the surprise when Alica Keys stepped in as the host of the night along with a fantastic musical performance! Keys did a monologue in a song and interviewed Ali Wong! Amongst all of that, she even surprised her audience by opening her talk show desk to reveal a piano inside!

The high light or the “blue light” of the night was her impromptu performance with Billie Eilish. The duo sat behind a piano drenched in a blue scenic light, while they sang gloriously! She sat down with billie Eilish to revisit her 2016 hit “Ocean Eyes” for a fresh rendition .They received a standing ovation from the women only studio audience!

The two musicians used the talk show to declare their admiration for each other, but then, Eilish revealed she had a surprise for Keys. Keys mentioned that she had covered “Ocean Eyes” on Instagram and asked if Eilish ever saw it. The 17-year-old said she did and explained how it blew her mind. She then surprised the guest host by revealing that she covered “Fallin'” at a talent show in 2014, and shared a clip of the performance . 2014…Eilish was 12 years old in 2014!! Pretty crazy.

Both their voices intwine together to create a stunning harmony, making it quite the emotional duet. Keys also came up with a duo name for them “Elishia keys”. Billie Eilish , the 17 year old singer has been adored by people all over the world for speaking her mind. Alica keys ,the artist who spat truth with her “Girl on Fire” just adds to Eilish’s bold yet elegant style. They’re a magical and we hope to see more of them in the coming year!
