BLACKPINK Creates History as First K-Pop Act to Headline Major UK Festival at BST Hyde Park

BLACKPINK became the first K-Pop act to play the main stage of a significant UK festival with their performance at BST Hyde Park. The girl group took the stage in front of a sold-out crowd of 65,000 fans and gave an electrifying 17-song set.
Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa introduced themselves to their London audience before beginning their milestone set with ‘Pink Venom,’ ‘How You Like That,’ ‘Pretty Savage’ and ‘Kick It’. They then broke into a performance of their first hit, ‘Whistle,’ which initially brought them to stardom in 2016.

The four-piece also brought the energy to their 90-minute-long set, blasting through back-to-back choreography and outfit changes. During the gig, Rosé said: “We’re absolutely honoured to perform here at Hyde Park… It’s a dream come true!”
‘Tally’ and ‘Typa Girl’ were among the other fan favorites sung at the concert. There was also a solo segment where each member of the band shared the stage and sang a solo version of one of their favourite songs. This included a rendition of ‘You & Me’ from Jennie, ‘Flower’ by Jisoo, ‘Gone + On The Ground’ from Rosé and finally, ‘Money’ by Lisa.
