BLACKPINK is Teaming up With ‘MapleStory’ For New Cosmetics

Multiplayer game, MapleStory and BLACKPINK are working together, and the result will be new in-game cosmetics and a video series that will follow the group as they suggest new outfits for the game.

The partnership will launch soon and it will include two videos of BLACKPINK members talking about the game. The group will respond to the 2022 MapleStory Outfit Tournament in the first episode, and in the second, members will design new items for the MapleStory collaboration.

The first episode’s teaser video features BLACKPINK talking about the in-game items they already own, MapleStory’s fashion and suggestions for new items to be added.

BLACKPINK revealed B.P.M. last week, a reality programme that will follow the girl group as they prepare to release their most recent album, ‘Born Pink’.

‘Born Pink Memories’ is the acronym for the name of the show, which will, in the words of YG Entertainment, “show off a natural, entirely different side” of the singers.

Following the girl group’s performance in London, Spotify reported that BLACKPINK, behind only BTS, was the second-most streamed K-pop act worldwide in 2022. ‘Pink Venom’ and ‘Money’ by BLACKPINK were also the third and fourth most streamed K-pop songs on Spotify this year.
