With the release of ‘Born Pink,’ the South Korean band’s second full-length album, they topped the charts in September. BLACKPINK’s debut album, 2020’s ‘The Album,’ previously reached at number two in the United Kingdom (via the Official Charts Company). “Congratulations to BLACKPINK!” stated Martin Talbot, Chief Executive of the Official Charts Company.

With their album ‘Map of The Soul: Persona,’ BTS made history by being the first Korean act to debut at the top of the UK albums chart. The same result was later attained by their 2020 record, ‘Map Of The Soul: 7.’
