BLACKPINK & Selena Gomez Put Out An Intimate Version of ‘Ice Cream’

The buzzing stars of BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez are keeping the momentum going on ‘Ice Cream’ with a brand new visualizer for the track. The track made its explosive landing mid-August and is already doing the rounds on charts world over. And this time, both acts have arrived with a charming little lyric video for the song. 

The video opens with a shot of Lisa, coddling her fluffy white cat while her bandmates and Selena slowly begin to pop up on separate screens.The girls then go on to sing their respective verses over a zoom-like format. 

This marks the third visualizer the artists have created for ‘Ice Cream’. The official music video featured frills, colours and the girls sampling sugary treats while roaming a sunny wonderland. This video has already raked in a whopping 271 million views. 

Following this, the girls also dropped an adorable little animated music video for the same. Now, when ‘Ice Cream’ debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, it did so at No. 13, which marks BLACKPINK’s greatest rank on the chart so far. 

In other news, the girls are just a week away from dropping their highly anticipated new album. BLACKPINK have sprinkled a trail of cryptic teasers on social media, leaving fans at the edge of their seats. “BLACKPINK: The Album” is set to make its descent on October 2nd.
