BLACKPINK To Put On “The Show”
The K-pop sensation and all-female group, BLACKPINK have already smashed records this year. They are unstoppable and are finishing the year in style. Just like we thought they would. As we approach the end of the rollercoaster year 2020, they have yet another feather in their cap. The group will perform a live stream concert, in a first-of-its-kind.
BLACKPINK has announced a live stream concert with YouTube. The tracklist from the virtual concert dubbed “The Show” will feature many tracks off the band’s latest release “THE ALBUM”. The concert is set to take place on the Dec 26th at 9 pm PST/Dec 27th at 12 am EST. This comes just two months after the release of the album. Which is just a bonus for the fans!
What About “The Show”?
The group took to their social media only to leave their fans wondering after posting a 30-second clip of cities and geographical coordinates. Well, turns out it was a teaser for their upcoming first live-streamed concert. BLACKPINK surely knows how to make their fans curious.
Apparently, the group will perform songs from the debut album for the first time as a thank you to their fans who they call, Blinks. Talking to a source, the BLACKPINK spoke about how much they owe to their fans, especially for patiently waiting for something from them.
BLACKPINK explained, “We wanted to end the year with something very special for our Blinks who have been waiting so patiently for us. We hope everyone can comfortably enjoy our first-ever live stream concert. “The Show” at home and hopefully join in on some special perks we’ve prepared for those who join our channel. Overall, we’re super excited to share this fun moment with our Blinks and we can’t wait till The Show.”
