BLACKPINK’s Lisa & Rosalía’s ‘New Woman’ Debuts on Billboard Hot 100

BLACKPINK’s Lisa and Latin singer Rosalía have teamed up for the single ‘New Woman’, which quickly went viral among fans. The track has not only garnered massive streams and views but also made a notable debut on the Billboard charts.

‘New Woman’ debuted at 97 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking Lisa’s fourth entry on the chart. Her previous solo track ‘ROCKSTAR’ peaked at no. 70, making it her highest-charting solo entry. Tracks from her debut album, ‘Lalisa’ and ‘Money’, were the first to enter the Hot 100.

The single also achieved success on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, ranking at no. 6 after debuting at no. 10. This chart highlights songs popular worldwide, excluding the United States. Lisa’s 

‘ROCKSTAR’ previously debuted at no. 1 on this chart.

Within just 24 hours of its release, ‘New Woman’ amassed 27 million views on YouTube and has now reached 54 million views in just 11 days. On Spotify, the track has been played 51 million times.

Lisa, who debuted as a member of BLACKPINK, launched her solo career in 2021 with the single album ‘Lalisa’, which became a commercial success and earned her several accolades, including an MTV Video Music Award.

After parting ways with YG Entertainment in 2023, Lisa founded her own agency, Lloud, under which ‘ROCKSTAR’ was the first release. The artist is also set to make her acting debut in the series ‘The White Lotus’, expected to be released around 2025.
