Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Stun in Matching Blue Outfits Ahead of Anniversary Celebration

The saying goes, "The couple that dresses together, stays together," and that certainly rings true for Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. The duo stepped out in New York City, showcasing coordinated blue ensembles that perfectly captured their signature style. 

Lively sported loose-fitting jeans, paired with a light blue blazer and white shirt, while Reynolds opted for navy trousers, a blue-grey jacket, and his own white shirt. To complete their looks, Lively chose casual Nike sneakers, and Reynolds wore brown boots. Both stars also accessorized with matching sunglasses, effortlessly complementing each other.

Their stylish outing comes just days before their 12th wedding anniversary, which they’ll celebrate on 9th September. The couple tied the knot in 2012 after meeting in 2010, although they later expressed regret over their wedding venue choice, Boone Hall Plantation in South Carolina. In a 2020 interview, Reynolds apologized for the decision, acknowledging the tragic history of the location and calling it "a giant mistake."

Over the years, Lively and Reynolds have consistently wowed fans with their red-carpet appearances, and this year has been no exception. Both have been busy promoting their upcoming projects—Lively with ‘It Ends with Us’ and Reynolds with ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’—giving them ample opportunities to turn heads with their fashion choices.

During her ‘It Ends with Us’ press tour, Lively embraced her character Lily Bloom’s floral aesthetic, wearing everything from $19,000 floral jeans at a surprise screening to Britney Spears' Versace dress at the film’s premiere. At that same premiere, Reynolds matched her energy in an olive green suit, complete with a floral detail on the lapel, proving once again that their fashion game is as strong as ever.
