Courteney Cox and Brad Pitt recently reunited at a fundraising event for Rock4EB, nearly 23 years after Pitt’s memorable guest appearance on ‘Friends’. The event took place on September 21 in Malibu, California, and also featured guests like Pitt’s girlfriend Ines de Ramon, singer Pink, and actress Kaley Cuoco.
At the star-studded gathering, which was hosted by Judd Apatow, Pitt and Cox posed for a photo together. Rock4EB, established in 2013, aims to raise funds for research and a cure for the rare skin condition known as epidermolysis bullosa. The evening included performances by Pink and Dallas Green, along with dinner, cocktails, and a silent auction.

Pitt appeared on ‘Friends’ during its eighth season in November 2001, in an episode titled ‘The One with the Rumor.’ He played Will Colbert, a character who was part of an ‘I Hate Rachel’ club alongside Ross Geller, portrayed by David Schwimmer. At the time, Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston, who played Rachel Green. The couple divorced in 2005 but have maintained a friendly relationship.
During a promotion for an HBO Max reunion special, Aniston and her co-stars reflected on their favourite guest stars. Aniston praised Pitt, saying, “Mr. Pitt was wonderful,” to which Lisa Kudrow and Cox agreed.

Speaking with PEOPLE at the Rock4EB event, Cox discussed the show’s 30th anniversary, expressing amazement at how quickly time has flown. She fondly recalled her character Monica Geller, saying, “Monica is alive and well.” Though she hasn’t watched an episode in a while, she admitted that she enjoys revisiting the series whenever she comes across it, appreciating the timeless humour and the talented writing that continues to resonate with audiences today.
