Brad Pitt Set to Reprise His ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ Role in Spin-Off

A new series will carry on the story of Cliff Booth, the laid-back stuntman portrayed by Brad Pitt in ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’.
The 61-year-old Pitt is reuniting with filmmaker David Fincher, with whom he previously worked on ‘Se7en’, ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’, and ‘Fight Club’. According to many reports from the media, Quentin Tarantino, the filmmaker of ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’, is writing the project, which is being produced.
Although the plot of the production is still unknown, filming is anticipated to start this summer. Some sources refer to it as a sequel, while others speculate that it will be a spin-off or derivative of the Sony-originally released 2019 movie.

Cliff Booth was originally supposed to be in Tarantino’s 1970s-set film, ‘The Movie Critic’, but he has since shelved that project. ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood: A Novel’, which goes beyond what was seen on television, is another work in which he delves deeper into the character.
No additional casting information has been disclosed. In the original movie, Booth served as a regular stunt double for fading TV star Rick Dalton, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, and Sharon Tate, played by Margot Robbie. In the alternate reality of the movie, Booth’s character was instrumental in stopping the Manson Family from killing people.

Pitt won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance as ‘Booth’, and the film won an Oscar for Best Production Design. It was nominated for several other awards, such as Best Director and Best Picture.
In addition to this project, Pitt will star in an ‘F1’ movie about a driver from the 1990s that was helmed by ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ director Joseph Kosinski. The film will be released on 27th June. Additionally, Pitt is an executive producer on the popular limited series ‘Adolescence’.
