Brad Pitt Speeds Into Action in High-Octane New ‘F1’ Movie Trailer

Get ready because "F1" is going to dominate the summer box office! A spectacular new sports action film starring Brad Pitt is scheduled to hit theatres in June 2025.  Pitt plays Sonny Hayes, a former Formula 1 driver who makes a spectacular comeback to the fast-paced world of racing, in the recently unveiled full trailer for the film ‘F1’.

 After joining the fictional Formula One team APXGP, Sonny finds himself in a precarious scenario where his recovery might make or ruin the team.  A compelling journey with Sonny facing his background and the harsh ‘F1’  circuit is hinted at in the summary.

Damson Idris, Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, Kim Bodnia, Simone Ashley, Sarah Niles, Tobias Menzies, and Samson Kayo are also part of the renowned cast.  Sonny's tense dealings with his squad, particularly with his mentor Ruben (Bardem), are depicted in the teaser.  The tone is established by Sonny's heated discussion with Kate (Condon), who reminds him that his performance will determine the team's destiny.

The preview for ‘F1’ shows Sonny getting back together with his adolescent protégé Joshua (Idris), which heightens the drama. The plot revolves around their changing relationship, which is characterised by conflict before eventually leading to trust.  Sonny tells Joshua, "Three laps," in one scenario.  "Three laps is a lifetime," highlighting the high stakes they face on both a personal and professional level.

‘Top Gun: Maverick’ director Joe Kosinski is directing ‘F1’, promising an epic racing movie with "real heart."  Additionally, he disclosed that following months of rigorous training under the tutelage of seven-time Formula 1 champion and film producer Lewis Hamilton, Pitt and Idris took to the real ‘F1’ track during production.

Pitt was ecstatic about the endeavour and told Sky Sports ‘F1’ in 2023 how rewarding it was to be a part of the Formula One community.  He remarked, "It's the best time of my life," as he considered the exceptional occasion.

 Make sure to mark your calendars because ‘F1’ will be a high-octane, turbocharged thrill experience that will leave fans on the edge of their seats when it arrives in theatres and IMAX on 27th June.
