Britney Spears And Elton John Reveal The Cover Art For Their Latest Collaboration

The cover art for Elton John and Britney Spears’ forthcoming collaboration, ‘Hold Me Closer,’ has been unveiled.

The representatives for both singers announced in a press release last week that they had collaborated on a song. The statement came in response to several rumours that the duo was covertly working on a new rendition of John’s 1972 classic ‘Tiny Dancer’.

An unidentified source described the rumoured tune as “incredible” in a recent Page Six report, adding: “Britney was in the studio in Beverly Hills last week with Elton for the super-secret recording session overseen by uber-producer Andrew Watt.”

Paris Hilton, who has known Spears for a long time, verified that the rumours were accurate in a recent interview with Paul Voor Je Neus.

“It’s gonna be iconic,” Hilton said of John and Spears’ upcoming track. “I just heard it a few days ago in Ibiza and it is… it’s insane.”

For his 2021 album ‘The Lockdown Sessions,’ John recorded a complete album’s worth of high-profile duets with artists like Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus and Stevie Nicks.

‘Glory,’ Spears’ most recent and ninth studio album was released in 2016. In order to celebrate turning 39, she issued an outtake from the album, titled ‘Swimming In The Stars,’ in late 2020.

“I haven’t shared my voice in an extremely long time … maybe too long,” she wrote in the caption on Instagram.
