Britney Spears Posts Startling Image of The Incident When She Set Fire to Her Gym

Over three years after the unintentional incident where Britney Spears accidentally set fire to her home gym, the pop star revisited the memory by sharing the full extent of the damage on Instagram. Captioning a startling photo, she wrote, "Reflecting back, remembering when I burnt the gym down in 2020," revealing a glimpse of the charred basement filled with burnt workout equipment.

Spears disclosed that she unintentionally set her home gym ablaze due to some candles. "It was an accident... but yes... I burnt it down," she wrote in the caption. "I walked past the door to the gym and flames fire emojis BOOM!!!!!! By the Grace of God, the alarm went off after that, and yippy hoorah, nobody got hurt. Unfortunately, now I have only two pieces of equipment left lol and a one-sided mirror gym!!!!! But it could be much worse, so I’m grateful. Pssss I like working out better outside anyways."

Spears has encountered mishaps with candles before. It is assumed  that during a vacation in New York City, the pop star nearly set the apartment she was staying in ablaze by inadvertently leaving a lit candle while out shopping.

In another candle incident, Spears' mother disclosed that Britney's fascination with candles led to an earlier fire in the family's Louisiana home.
