Brothers Lyle And Erik Menendez: From Privileged Heirs to Convicted Murderers in Ryan Murphy’s Chilling Anthology
Following the success of ‘Dahmer’, director Ryan Murphy returns with a chilling new instalment of his anthology, this time focusing on the Menendez brothers, Lyle and Erik, who brutally murdered their parents, José and Kitty Menéndez.
Nicholas Alexander Chavez and Cooper Koch star as the infamous brothers, with Javier Bardem portraying their wealthy father José, and Chloë Sevigny taking on the role of their mother, Kitty. The show delves into the brothers’ lavish lifestyle, fueled by their father’s fortune, and the hidden darkness behind their seemingly perfect family.

The trailer offers a glimpse of the brothers entering their home with rifles, followed by gunshots. “Erik and I killed our parents together, so I’d say that makes us pretty close,” Koch’s character chillingly states, setting the tone for the disturbing narrative.
It exposes the contrast between the brothers’ luxurious life and their deep dissatisfaction, hinting at motives beyond financial greed.
“You don’t murder your parents that way. Literally defacing them. That’s not about money,” says Nathan Lane’s character, journalist Dominick Dunne, as the brothers face trial.
While some believe the murders were driven by greed, others suspect a darker truth. Erik and Lyle, who were convicted and sentenced to life without parole, claimed their parents abused them physically, sexually, and emotionally. Murphy’s new instalment promises to be as gripping and thought-provoking as ‘Dahmer’.
