BTS member RM just dropped an exciting trailer for his upcoming documentary RM: Right People, Wrong Place. Released on November 5, the trailer gives fans an inside look at RM’s world—from his creative sessions in the studio to live performances and laid-back moments with friends. In the preview, RM reflects on his journey in the industry, saying that he wonders what it means to be a K-pop star at 30. He said that he always pushed his limits, trying to see just how honest he could truly be with himself as RM, or as Kim Nam-joon.
RM: Right People, Wrong Place is set to premiere in theaters worldwide on December 5.
The upcoming documentary will spotlight the eight months leading up to RM’s military enlistment in December 2023, during which he dedicated time to writing and recording his second solo album, Right People, Wrong Place, as noted in a press release.

Set primarily in the places where “RM intensely worked on his album,” RM: Right People, Wrong Place will take audiences on a journey through Seoul, Tokyo, and London, offering a deep dive into the creative process behind RM’s second solo album. Recently, RM collaborated with Megan Thee Stallion on her single ‘Neva Play,’ released in September. She expressed her excitement about the track, saying that it featured one of her favourite RM verses and that she had “never heard him rap in this style before.”
Later, ‘Neva Play’ was added as a bonus track on Megan’s album MEGAN: Act II, which was released last month. The album also includes a fresh remix of her hit single ‘Mamushi,’ featuring the K-pop girl group TWICE.
