BTS Sets ARMY Off; Reveal Title of Upcoming Single
BTS are gearing up for what may be their biggest comeback in music, ever. And, in a pleasant turn of events, the group have revealed the name of their upcoming English language single.
Early last week, BTS sent fans into a spiral with the news that they’re making their official comeback to music on the 21st of August. In addition to that explosive news, they went on to reveal that the track is going to be their first English language single ever. Cut to late last night, and ARMY finally has a vague idea of what they can expect. The group took to social media to reveal the name of the upcoming release, sending fans into a Twitter frenzy. The single will be called ‘Dynamite’.
Late last night, BTS’ social media layouts took on a new colour, following the official reveal made by their label, BigHit Labels. The poster, which sees the word ‘Dynamite’ written in multi coloured, fun lettering, launched a Twitter trend that eventually surpassed 1.5 million tweets. And so, it begins- the start of a new BTS era. In addition, the new layout reflects the tone and mood of the upcoming track, as teased by the seven-member group.
What to Expect from ‘Dynamite’
In a statement about the imminent comeback, BTS said “This is a new challenge for us as well. When we first heard and recorded the song, we were energised and our spirits were lifted up.” Teasing what the single will sound like, the members referenced their previous releases like ‘MIC Drop’ and ‘Waste It On Me’. In addition, they went on to say that the track will follow a summery vibe, leading fans to believe that ‘Dynamite’ will be an upbeat pop release.
The BTS ARMY Rejoices
Further, this recent teaser has been met with an overwhelming response owing to the “clownery” that went on last week. According a schedule posted by Columbia Records, ARMY were set to receive a teaser on the 31st of July. Well, after all that anticipation, all they got was a reminder to follow BTS on Spotify. Following this comedic turn of events, the ARMY took to Twitter to shake their heads in unison. And so, it’s no surprise that this reveal was met with an ecstatic response.
‘Dynamite’ by BTS is slated for release on the 21st of August. In addition, the track is now available for pre-save of Spotify.
