BTS’ SUGA Lends Rap to MAX For ‘Blueberry Eyes’

SUGA is set to collaborate with singer-songwriter MAX

Big news coming in from the world of collaborations. SUGA of BTS is all set to lend his rap to American singer-songwriter, MAX. The announcement was made via social media earlier today and sent fans into a spiral.

The track, which will feature on MAX’s upcoming album, is called ‘Blueberry Eyes’. The album has been made available for pre-order, and luckily for ARMY, one of the previews available is of the track in question.

From the snippet available, the track sounds like an upbeat, summer pop single. SUGA’s rap consists of lines like: “Before I met you, I was nobody/ Yeah, I was nobody/ My life before you was nothing/ But killing time day by day.” And, while that may seem like an intense dose of rap, the BTS rapper delivers his lines to a melodic, acoustic riff set by MAX and his producers.

According to reports, MAX will release his album “Colour Vision” on the 18th of September, 2020. This collaboration marks the second time the artists pair up for a project. Their previous work includes the pop-rock track ‘Burn It’, which finds its place on SUGA’s second solo mixtape, “D-2”.

MAX offered up his powerful vocals to the high-energy track, and quickly became a fan favourite among BTS’ ARMY. He has also spoken openly about the love he has received as an artist ever since the collaboration.

‘Blueberry Eyes’ and other tracks from MAX’s upcoming release, “Colour Vision” are now available for pre-save on streaming services.
