BTS’ Suga Thought ‘The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt. 1′ Would be Their Last Album

In the fast-paced world of the music industry, it’s not uncommon for artists to face uncertainty about their future, even when they’re at the peak of their careers. This was precisely the case for BTS member Suga, who recently revealed an insight into his thoughts during the making of the boyband’s 2015 album, ‘The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt. 1.’ In a candid moment on his online talk show, ‘Suchwita,’ Suga shared his doubts about the album’s success and the future of BTS.

During the episode, Suga welcomed SHINee’s Taemin and his fellow BTS member, Jimin, as guests. The conversation took an interesting turn when Suga asked Taemin to identify Jimin’s most memorable performance. Taemin’s answer was ‘I Need U,’ and he commended BTS for their seriousness and ambition when it came to performing. This led Suga to open up about a time when he thought that their journey might be coming to an end.

“I say this now, but I really thought that was going to be our last album,” Suga confessed. “I thought we were done with. I cried so much after the pre-recording of M Countdown, I cried while performing.”

While it’s clear that ‘The Most Beautiful Moment in Life’ was a pivotal moment for BTS, it’s intriguing to consider that even at the height of their success, the members grappled with doubts about their future.

Aside from Suga’s candid revelation, the episode also provided insight into the deep bond between the members of BTS. Suga and Jimin expressed their longing for the group to reunite, emphasizing their eagerness for a complete regroup gathering in 2025.

BTS took an extended break in mid-2022 to pursue solo projects, but all seven members renewed their contracts with Big Hit Music. The label has expressed its desire to provide a full group promotional period for BTS in 2025, raising expectations for fans who have been patiently waiting.

Suga, who is currently serving in the South Korean military, continues to make headlines. The 20th episode of ‘Suchwita’ featuring Suga and Taemin offered a lighthearted discussion about the youngest member of BTS, Jungkook, and his unique blend of characteristics drawn from the other six members.
