BTS Won ‘Worldwide Fans’ Choice’ And ‘Icon of The Year’ at The 2023 MAMA Awards

Amidst the nominations, the renowned K-pop group BTS and the charismatic vocalist Jim stood alongside the emerging stars TXT, each garnering an impressive tally of eight nominations.

Commencing on 28th November, at the Tokyo Dome Stadium in Bunkyo, Japan, the MAMA Awards, one of the most prominent music award ceremonies, unfolded as a two-day musical spectacle. The red carpet witnessed the presence of some of the most significant attractions in the music industry.

Concluding the first day, BTS secured substantial victories, clinching two esteemed titles: the ‘Worldwide Fans’ Choice’ and ‘Icon of the Year’ awards. The nominations were led by the renowned K-pop group BTS and their dynamic vocalist Jim, sharing the spotlight with emerging stars TXT, who also earned an impressive eight nominations each.

One fan enthusiastically shared a clip of Jungkook’s acceptance speech for BTS’ ‘Worldwide Icon of the Year Daesang award’ at the MAMA Awards, writing, “CONGRATULATIONS BTS!”
