Calvin Harris is The “Love Generator”
Calvin Harris has made a new name for himself! Ummm, we’re being quite literal here, guys, he’s actually created an alias for himself, named, ‘Love Regenerator’ as he dives head first into the world of club music!
And yet, he’s returned to the music scene with a lot more than a new name, he also dropped two brand new tracks titled, ‘CP-1’ and ‘Hypnagogic (I Can’t wait)’. Both the tracks are heavily influenced by early 90’s psychedelic music. Harris previously took to Twitter to announce his new title, ‘Love Regenerator’ telling fans: “Start of a new project for me this Friday!”. He even changed his Twitter and Instagram page name to his new alias.
The famous Scottish DJ and producer last collaborated with the Rag’n’Bone Man for ‘Giant’ in Jan 2019 and now, it looks like he’s ready to start experimenting with the kind of music he’s putting out there.
In a recent press release, Harris said,
“I wanted to rediscover the way I originally began producing music 22 years ago before I ever thought about how it might be perceived by outside forces. Just pure fun and experimentation with what sounded good to me. The records are inspired by early rave, breaks, techno and house, the music I was obsessed with growing up. In fact, I’ve done everything I can to make them sound like they’ve come from a 1991 time capsule. Every synth and sound used is from that time period.”
We can’t wait to see what else Calvin’s got in store for us this year!
