Camila Cabello Teases New Music, Details Here

Camila Cabello may be living life all loved up, and in quarantine with beau, Shawn Mendes. But, there’s no way the pop powerhouse is taking a break from music. Cabello took to social media to spread some morning positivity and, in the process, spilled the beans on some new music. 

The 23 year old singer posted a picture of herself on Instagram earlier today. And, in a pleasant surprise, she broke the news that she’s been working on a ton of new music, leaving fans excited. Cabello wrote in her Instagram caption: “Sending so much love to everyone. Been writing a lot of new music and it’s coming from a really pure place.”

She continued, writing, “Reminding myself that life is now; and not in the yesterday or tomorrow. Let’s be gentle, soft, and kind to ourselves and others today.” 

Camila Cabello is no stranger to chart-topping hits, and vulnerable songwriting. So, if this new batch of music is coming “from a really pure place”, we can all expect to keep our tissues ready and speakers on full. The ‘Havana’ singer hasn’t shared any other specifics like a release date, lyrics, titles of songs, or anything. But, for now, her word is an exciting enough taste of things to come. 

And, while Camila has been using the great Quarantine of 2020 to work on new music, she’s also been using this downtime for other things. One being her focussed encouragement of the fight for justice, specifically with regards to Breonna Taylor. As the BLM movement continues to call for justice on a global scale, many celebrities, including Cabello, have used social media as a platform to raise awareness.
