Marc Pritchard, chief brand officer of Procter & Gamble, emphasised the importance of this benefit concert. “We must continue to fight hate and intolerance against all people while redoubling our efforts to elevate LGBTQ+ visibility and providing support for those in need. ‘Can’t Cancel Pride’ is about showing the community that they are not alone and that they are seen and loved, even when stay-at-home orders have closed community centers and support systems that millions of LGBTQ+ people rely on every day,” he stated.

The festival has also partnered with The Greater Cincinnati Foundation. It aims to help provide financial support raised by the event to LGBTQ organizations.

As Pride month trudges on, numerous artists have shown their support for the LGBTQ community. Halsey has put out new music, Khalid and Victoria Monet have a collab on the way. Camila Cabello has urged her fans to fight for transgender rights on social media- this list has been steadily building. And boy, is it an absolute delight to see.
