Cardi B & Anitta Are Joining Forces For A New Treat

While Cardi B might be currently facing some troubles in her love life, on the music front, she’s shown no signs of slowing down. The young rapper just nabbed yet another fiery collaboration, this time with the Brazilian sensation, Anitta. 

Now, just for some context, in 2013, the star found her footing in the industry with the release of her debut album. Her self-titled debut record went on to do exceedingly well. And soon enough, Anitta cemented her name in the music landscape. In just a couple years time, her talent spoke for itself and she soon held a number of prestigious awards under her belt. If you were wondering, she’s a five-time winner as the Best Brazilian Act on the MTV Europe Music Awards, and was the first Brazilian artist to win the Best Latin American Act award.

What Have Cardi & Anitta Been Cooking Up?

Now, circling back to her collaboration with Cardi B. She’s worked alongside the rap star and Myke Towers for her brand new single, ‘Me Gusta’. Anitta took to social media to break the news with a rather hilarious post. It featured the official cover art for ‘Me Gusta’ which included Towers and Anitta grooving on a terrace with a photoshopped picture of Cardi B getting a bit er…grabby. 

Cardi even posted a snippet of the track on her Instagram and it featured some stunning vocal runs, courtesy Anitta. Cardi also confessed, “I really love this song it’s soooo catchy it constantly replays in my head.”

Further, Cardi also shared her excitement over a voice tweet that Anitta shared. “You guys know how I love Spanish music, you guys know how I love Brazilian funk, and I’m just really excited,” the rapper gushed. 

Well, ‘Me Gusta’ will make its landing tomorrow, September 18, so keep an eye out.
