Cardi B Announces New Single ‘UP’ To Drop Soon
Cardi B has a new single titled ‘UP’ slated for release on Friday, 5th February.
The rapper took to Twitter to make this announcement on the night of February 1st. “My new single ‘UP’ drops this Friday! LETS GOOOOOO! #Up.”, she wrote.

The boss lady, Cardi B stole the limelight on the internet after she posted a video clip in which she played a Hindi track – ‘ Kaliyon ka Chaman’. While some fans wondered if the rapper teased the release of a new album with the clip, there were some that bet on the release of a new single. Either way, desi fans were extremely pleased and couldn’t keep calm!
With this tweet and the caption that featured a loudspeaker emoji, it is safe to say that Cardi had pretty big news to share and this was it. The WAP hitmaker also shared the link to her web store with her fans. The CD of the new single is available on the singer’s official website.
Blockbuster, Honor And More!
Cardi and Megan Thee Stallion’s latest release ‘WAP’ was a blockbuster. The track topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart in August and also set a new record for biggest debut streaming week. Despite the commercial success, the track will only be considered for the Grammy’s next year as part of Cardi B’s next album.
Cardi B was also named Billboard’s 2020 Woman Of The Year in December. The rapper received the honour from the deceased Breonna Taylor’s mom, whose death fuelled the Black Lives Matter movement.
Cardi B has had a great year on the professional front following the success of her music. Furthermore, the rapper also made a guest appearance on BLACKPINK’s ‘Bet You Wanna’ and ‘Me Gusta’ by Anitta in 2020.
Well, Cardi seems to be kicking off the new year on a high with the release. We hope she treats us to more amazing music and her year is as eventful as the previous one!
