Channing Tatum Dreads the Day His Daughter Everly Watches ‘Magic Mike’
Channing Tatum isn’t exactly thrilled about the day his daughter, Everly, finally watches ‘Magic Mike’. During his appearance on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’, the 44-year-old actor, who was there to promote his upcoming movie ‘Blink Twice’, shared a lighthearted story about taking his 11-year-old daughter, whom he shares with ex-wife Jenna Dewan, to see Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Los Angeles.
Tatum explained that attending the concert with Everly was a different experience than when he saw it in London with his fiancée, Zoë Kravitz. “Watching it with your daughter is a whole new vibe. I was dancing like never before,” Tatum joked with Seth Meyers, who playfully referenced Tatum’s ‘Magic Mike’ roles known for their dance routines.

The actor humorously added that he was careful to avoid any of his ‘Magic Mike’ -style moves, sticking instead to more “dad-approved” dancing. “I’m so thankful she doesn’t know how I really dance,” Tatum admitted, before acknowledging that one day she will inevitably discover his moves, likely not from him. “It’s going to be horrifying when that happens,” he said, mimicking his toned-down dance moves for the show.
Meyers joked that when Everly does finally see ‘Magic Mike’, she’ll likely be the one wanting to have a serious conversation with her dad. “You’ll come home, and she’ll be waiting with the lamp on, ready to talk,” Meyers teased.

Tatum, who enjoys special moments with his daughter, also recently shared photos on Instagram from a Renaissance Faire they attended together. Tatum embraced the theme, wearing a cape and wielding a sword, while Everly struck serious poses, channelling her character as a “pirate assassin.” Tatum proudly recounted their day, including a playful moment where they dunked a clown at the fair.
Tatum’s new film, ‘Blink Twice’, is set to hit theatres on 23rd August.
