Check Out Kid Cudi’s Upbeat New Song ‘Stars In The Sky’

Kid Cudi has released a new song called ‘Stars In The Sky,’ which you can hear below. The cheerful, synth-driven tune was produced for the Sonic The Hedgehog 2 soundtrack, which is set to hit theatres on 8th April.

It’s accompanied by some amusing visuals that mix snippets of Cudi performing in the studio with shots from the upcoming film, as well as old-school gaming graphics from the original Sonic game from the 1990s.

Cudi whose real name is Scott Mescudi – gets a message to “come join me” before taking off in a black-and-white sphere above the city. Mescudi blasts off into the night sky at the end of the video.

In the ‘Stars In The Sky’ chorus, he sings: “Say I’m right and sail tonight, I’m home/ Say right now, I get it, take my hand come zone/ Come on, catch a ride/ And we take it to places that we only dreamed/ I think I’m home/ This is my heaven, baby, day and night in my zone.”

After announcing the track earlier this week, Cudi said he would “be doin a screening [with] fans so stay tuned!”.
