Paris Jackson’s new EP, ‘The Lost,’ was released on 18th February.  The EP is available on Apple and Spotify, and was issued by Republic Records/Universal. ‘Lost,’ a collaboration with Caamp, as well as solo tracks ‘Breathe Again’ and ‘Never Going Back Again,’ round out the three-track project. Jackson will perform at the SXSW Showcase in Austin next month to promote the EP.

After that, Jackson will serve as the opening act for Patrick Droney’s next North American tour in March. Listen to the new EP below:

Jackson stated in January that she would be open to working with her aunt Janet Jackson. The singer discussed her upcoming film Sex Appeal, which also stars Mika Abdalla, Fortune Feimster, and Margaret Cho, in an interview with Access Daily. She also talked about her family, including her brothers Michael Jackson Jr., also known as Prince, and Blanket, the youngest.

“I think my brother is probably the nicest person I’ve ever met,” she said of Prince. “Absolutely adore him, I adore all my brothers. My best friends.”

Mario Lopez and Kit Hoover, the show’s hosts, later inquired if she would ever consider working with her famous aunt, Janet Jackson. “We haven’t talked about it, but I’m not opposed to it,” said Paris.

“I love collaborating with all kinds of artists. The genre doesn’t really turn me off, doesn’t matter what genre it is. I can’t say that I see myself doing trap music anytime in the near future, but I’m open to everything.”

Paris released her debut solo album ‘Wilted’ in 2020, which NME called “a collection of 11 intimate songs that’ll fit like your favourite sweater.”
