Check Out The Weeknd and Playboi Carti’s New Track ‘Timeless’

The Weeknd has dropped his latest single, a collaboration with Playboi Carti called ‘Timeless’. Earlier this month, on September 7, the Canadian artist performed a massive live-streamed concert in São Paulo, Brazil, where he debuted several new songs, including ‘Timeless,’ with Carti joining him on stage for the first performance. Now, the track has been officially released, featuring production by Pharrell. This marks the second official collaboration between the two, following their 2023 track ‘Popular,’ which was part of the ill-fated soundtrack for The Weeknd’s HBO series, ‘The Idol’, and also featured Madonna. Check out ‘Timeless’ below.

‘Timeless,’ along with the recent single ‘Dancing In The Flames,’ is anticipated to be part of The Weeknd’s forthcoming album, Hurry Up Tomorrow, which will complete his ongoing trilogy that began with After Hours and Dawn FM.

The album’s artwork has also been revealed on social media, showcasing a straightforward close-up of Abel Tesfaye’s face, marking a departure from the facial prosthetics seen during the After Hours era. A release date for the album has not yet been announced. According to a statement regarding the new project, it “represents the creative pinnacle of the trilogy, serving as the third and final chapter infused with existential and self-referential themes, as highlighted by the latest visionary teasers that have ignited excitement among fans for this concluding installment.”

Carti, meanwhile, also appeared on Camila Cabello’s glitchy single ‘I Luv It’ earlier this year, appeared at the Grammys with Travis Scott, and recently released the solo single ‘All Red’.
