The Coldplay frontman can be seen singing along while Canal, who happens to only have one hand, plays the piano for her original song ‘Swan Song’ in the video. Chris also said that it was the best songs ever written.

The singer and his colleagues are presently performing a week-long run of gigs at London's Wembley Stadium, where Craig David and Natalie Imbruglia have both made unexpected cameos to perform with the band. Canal didn't explain how she met Martin, but the two met up when the band was there. The tour, which will last until 8th November in Argentina, has already helped Coldplay surpass the $1 billion mark in tour earnings.

The duet isn't the first time recently that Martin has surprised an unknowing admirer.

'A Sky Full of Stars' by Coldplay, which peaked at number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2014, was performed for an engaged couple by the singer at the end of June when he dropped by a pub in the small British village of Hinton Charterhouse.
