Christina Aguilera Gets Closer To Her Latin Roots

Christina Aguilera is connecting back to her Latin roots and also celebrating the Hispanic Heritage Month! The American singer-songwriter took to her social media to share a curated playlist. The songs pay tribute to all the music from Latin artists.

The playlist consists of 32 songs which represent her childhood and experiences of being a Latino. Also, some latest tracks which have become an inspiration to Christina Aguilera.

Christina Aguilera continues, “My dad was born in Ecuador and I’ll always cherish that side of my family and the culture they instilled in me. So, I decided to make a playlist for you guys of some of my favourite Latin music, both new songs and old classics..”

Christina Shares More From Her Roots

Christina Aguilera also took to her Instagram stories to share a trip down a memory lane and trust us, we felt nostalgic. Her stories were filled with her childhood photos and videos of her younger self. The rate footage gave us a glimpse of her trips to Ecuador with her finance, Mathew Rutler, as well. Sharing a picture, she disclosed a fun fact about her mother, “Julio Iglesias was one of my mom’s celeb crushes back in the day!”
