Christina Milian Seeks Love at a Pentatonix Concert in ‘Meet Me Next Christmas’ Trailer

The first trailer for ‘Meet Me Next Christmas’ introduces viewers to Layla, played by Christina Milian, as she navigates the chaos of holiday travel. When all flights are cancelled and delayed, Layla finds herself stranded and in a predicament. 

However, her luck changes when she meets James, portrayed by Kofi Siriboe, another fellow traveller facing the same dilemma. Their instant connection leads to a romantic proposition: they agree to reunite the following Christmas Eve at a Pentatonix concert.

As the holiday season approaches again, Layla faces an unexpected challenge: securing tickets to the sold-out concert. In a bid to make their reunion happen, she enlists the help of a personal concierge service. This is where Teddy, played by Devale Ellis, steps in. 

He appears to have the perfect solutions to all of Layla’s problems and dedicates himself to ensuring she gets the coveted tickets. Milian expresses her excitement about working alongside her talented co-stars. She describes both Devale and Kofi as not just handsome but uniquely different, which contributed to the film's chemistry. 

"Devale is such a funny, genuine nice guy, a family guy," she shares, highlighting his enthusiasm during auditions. “When we auditioned the guys for Teddy, he just felt like he was the role,” she adds, praising his charming, quirky persona.Milian also commends Kofi, calling him “a sweetheart” who brought a captivating presence to the film. She believes viewers, especially women, will be thrilled to see both actors in this holiday rom-com. 

The film, according to Milian, encapsulates everything she loves about the genre. Adding to the festive spirit, she notes that Pentatonix’s music perfectly embodies the essence of Christmas.The behind-the-scenes moments, particularly the improvisation from the cast, were also highlights for Milian, making the experience even more enjoyable.
