Colin Farrell Shares Exclusive Insights on What He Knows About ‘The Batman: Part II’
‘The Batman’ universe of Matt Reeves. Following the events of ‘The Batman’ (2022), in which Robert Pattinson made his debut as the renowned hero, this first spin-off series delves deeply into the life of the villain, featuring Colin Farrell as the notorious Gotham criminal boss Oz Cobb. Ever since the release of that movie, many have been curious about when Batman, Zoë Kravitz’s character Catwoman, and other Gotham inhabitants will be back on the big screen.
Farrell recently admitted to having little knowledge of ‘The Batman: Part II’ in an interview with Steve Weintraub of Collider. Despite his affiliation with the franchise, Farrell said that he actually doesn’t know much about the plans for the sequel’s production. He even quipped that Weintraub, who talks to Reeves a lot, might know more than he does.

Farrell stated that producer Dylan Clark, who worked on both the original movie and ‘The Penguin’, is his main point of contact. Although Farrell hasn’t received word on when production will begin, he recognized that Clark would probably get in touch shortly. For now, though, he is concentrating on getting some rest and personal time.
Farrell has confirmed that he will play Penguin again in ‘Batman: Part II’, joining Pattinson’s Batman, Kravitz as Catwoman, and probably Andy Serkis as Alfred. Beyond the primary cast, casting specifics are still unknown, and James Gunn of DC Studios recently refuted speculations that Harvey Dent (Two-Face) will be joining.
Reeves and co-writer Mattson Tomlin are working on the script steadily in the interim. According to a recent update from Reeves, DC has already evaluated a significant amount of it and they are almost finished. Filming might begin early next year if everything goes according to plan.
