County Music Star, Kelsea Ballerini Injured While Performing
Recently, when Kelsea Ballerini was performing in Boise, Idaho, a fan hurled an object at her. She was on stage singing ‘If You Go Down (I’m Goin’ Down Too)’. Ballerini briefly stopped singing as her violinist assessed the situation by looking at her face, as shown in a video posted on Twitter by a fan.
Ballerini is seen in the footage temporarily leaving the stage after the incident. The fan claimed that Ballerini showed professionalism by briefly leaving the stage, returning after a fast change of clothing, and continuing her act.
Even on a separate platform, she acoustically performed the song that was cut short. The fan expressed respect and emphasised how critical it is to create a safe space for performers like Ballerini. Later, another concertgoer captured and posted a video of Ballerini resuming the performance.
Dustin, Ballerini’s tour manager, reportedly went on stage after the incident and told the crowd that the item thrown was a friendship bracelet. In addition, he asked that no objects be thrown throughout the event. Later, Ballerini made her way back to the stage.
Other videos of Ballerini surfaced later on. In the clip, the country singer showed her concern for everyone in attendance, saying, “What just happened, all I care about is keeping everyone safe.” She also reminded the audience to speak up if they ever felt threatened and reassured them that security guards were posted all around the place.
