“Cry” With Coldplay

Coldplay’s music video for the track “Cry Cry Cry”, a soundtrack based on a couple’s romance from their latest album, ‘Everyday Life’ released on Valentine’s Day and every single person felt targeted.

Dakota Jackson with her directional debut along with Cory Bailey create an emotional experience of love through a couple’s dance over their lifetime. The couple walk onto the dance floor, holding hands and break into a dance, with youthful energy. With their acrobatic moves, they dance their way into the prime years of their romance and eventually grow old together but continue to express their love for each other through dance. The dance is choreographed by Celia Rowlson- Hal and filmed at London’s Rivoli Ballroom. Coldplay is seen as the side act in this music video, serenading the couple throughout.

Single or not, the video is bound to make you go “aww”.

Coldplay performed the song on The Ellen Degeneres Show. But, if you hoped to see them live, you’re going to miss out. The group has decided not to go on an album tour due to environmental reasons but they surely have satisfied listeners by releasing their double album, titled Sunrise and Sunset on a single CD. Fans also received typewritten notes before the release of the album. During a recent interview, Chris Martin revealed “It’s the first time we really said what we think about some things. And it’s trying to be empathetic and it’s a bit unfiltered. It’s completely unfiltered. It’s very raw and pure.”

Whether they’re crooning about love or bringing our attention to more real problems, they always get it right. Now, excuse us while we cry for days because this video is too cute.
