Dannielynn Birkhead Fulfills Dream Meeting Hugh Jackman With Dad Larry Birkhead

After seeing Hugh Jackman’s performance series, ‘From New York, with Love’, at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, Dannielynn Birkhead recently had her wishes come true when she met him. As her father assisted in creating a memorable moment, the 18-year-old daughter of Larry Birkhead and the late Anna Nicole Smith was overjoyed.

Larry, 52, had given Dannielynn tickets to Jackman’s concert and a life-sized cardboard cutout of him as a Christmas present. Larry posted a description of how the moment came full circle on Instagram. Larry commented on the encounter and showed a video of Dannielynn meeting Jackman. He mentioned how Jackman addressed supporters outside the venue in frigid temperatures after hours of performance. The star even gave Dannielynn an embrace and signed his autograph for her.

Jackman informed Dannielynn during the meeting that he had observed her excitement when he performed ‘A Million Dreams.’ It was Jackman’s first concert series in five years and included songs from his career highlights, including ‘The Greatest Showman’, ‘Les Misérables’, and ‘The Boy from Oz’.

Larry explained how thrilled and astounded Dannielynn was to finally meet Jackman, describing his generosity and amazing performance as evidence of why he is, in fact, ‘The Greatest Showman.’ He thanked Jackman for fulfilling his daughter’s wish as he concluded his post.

Larry said in a previous December Instagram post that he had trouble getting tickets at first since they sold out so fast, but that he finally managed to find some over Christmas week. He had also given Dannielynn the life-sized cutout as a fallback, joking that it had, in a sense, granted her request to have Hugh Jackman “under the tree.”

Larry ended by joking that he’s just a father trying to fulfil the aspirations, one day at a time.
