Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich Call it Quits, Says Source

In some shocking news, love birds, Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich have called it quits after months of dating and a two-month engagement. According to a source close to the couple, they decided to split, amicably, in order to focus on their careers. 

In addition, a statement from the source read: "It was a tough decision, but Demi and Max have decided to go their separate ways to focus on their respective careers." Further, they added, "They have respect and love for one another and will always cherish the time they spent together."

Demi and Max made their relationship public back in May, when they featured in the music video for Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande's single, 'Stuck With U'. This marked their first public appearance as a couple, confirming fan speculations at the time. Ehrich surprised Demi with a proposal by the beach, inviting a barrage of congratulatory wishes from well wishers and fans. Further, Demi shared a heartfelt caption about the proposal and her beau. She wrote, "You make me want to be the best version of myself. I’m honored to accept your hand in marriage. I love you more than a caption could express but I’m ecstatic to start a family and life with you. I love you forever my baby." 

Max, too, wrote a touching message about the engagement, saying, "I cannot spend another second of my life on Earth without the miracle of you being my wife. Here's to forever baby."

However, neither Max nor Demi have commented on the break up, yet.
