Demi Lovato To Perform For The First Time At The Grammys
With the Grammy’s just around the corner, every new announcement has us leaping up and down in excitement.
So, here’s what we do know, Lizzo’s got eight nods, which is unsurprising. Billie might just bag the Best New Artist award, plus both of them are set to take the stage! Other performers include, Ariana Grande, who will be a treat to watch, especially because she didn’t attend last year’s ceremony. Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and of course, Aerosmith! Now add Demi Lovato to that mix and we’re just losing our minds.
While there’s no word on what song Lovato will be singing, the performance marks the star’s first major awards show appearance since overcoming a reported overdose in July 2018. Perhaps what’s also so exciting is the fact that a lot of us have grown up along with Demi. We’ve often sang our hearts out to songs like, ‘La La Land’, ‘Skyscraper’ and ‘Heartattack’, so seeing her take the stage once more, after a brave recovery, is just so heartwarming.
Her last album, 2017’s Tell Me You Love Me, spawned the hit single “Sorry Not Sorry”, which did brilliantly on the charts as the song clearly highlighted her phenomenal vocal range. So, maybe we’ll get to hear this number live!
Demi broke the news on Instagram where she put up a photo of herself and commented, “ I told you the next time you’d hear from me I’d be singing,”
And it looks like she’s stuck to her word!
