Demi Moore Celebrates Mikey Madison’s Best Actress Oscar Win

After Mikey Madison won Best Actress at the Oscars, Demi Moore reflected on Madison’s amazing award win.

 The actress, 62, posted a video to Instagram that featured highlights from the 97th Academy Awards. The video had her getting ready with her team and her dog, Pilaf.  As she reflected on the experience, she conveyed her sincere gratitude to the cast, crew, and fans of ‘The Substance’, as well as to co-star Margaret Qualley and director Coralie Fargeat.  She also expressed gratitude to her fellow candidates, her staff, and everyone else who helped make the season memorable.

Moore sent a poignant remark for Madison at the end of her piece, congratulating her on her victory and expressing optimism for her future.

 Moore had won Golden Globes, Critics Choice, and SAG awards during the season, making him a formidable contender.  But in what many saw as a shocking surprise, the 25-year-old ‘Anora’ star won the Oscar, defeating Moore, Cynthia Erivo, Fernanda Torres, and Karla Sofía Gascón.  With five Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director for Sean Baker, the movie ‘Anora’ had a stellar night.

Following the ceremony, Moore was surrounded by her daughters, Scout, Tallulah, and Rumer Willis, whom she has with her ex-husband Bruce Willis, who expressed their love and support for her.

Tallulah called Pilaf “MY winner” after posting a cute Instagram picture of Moore and Pilaf eating French fries.  In addition, Scout shared a photo of their family at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party, demonstrating their deep pride in them.

 Madison thanked her other nominees in her acceptance speech, highlighting their brilliance and thanking them for being honoured with her.  Her victory made the Oscars an unforgettable evening.
