Did Billie Eilish Cancel Her 'Hit Me Hard And Soft' Tour?

A tweet claiming Billie Eilish has cancelled her ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft’ tour sparked widespread concern among fans. Despite the viral nature of the tweet, there has been no official announcement from Eilish herself regarding any cancellation. Fans planning to attend the tour can rest assured that it is still scheduled to proceed.

The tweet in question, posted on social media, featured a doctored screenshot purportedly from Eilish's account. It falsely claimed, “Tour is cancelled. I need some time to relax and eat pu**y,” and further stated, “I’ll go on a tour when I feel like it.” This misleading message was quickly identified as a joke, with several users pointing out its deceptive nature in the comments.

Critics of the tweet urged its removal, emphasising that it was not genuine and was causing unnecessary backlash against the singer. As one user noted, “Delete this post. It isn’t even real/true, and people are hating on her.

All for being dense and not knowing it’s a joke.” While some took the joke in stride, others expressed their reactions, with comments such as, “She has her priorities (not very) straight,” and “Clearly a joke.”

The post gained significant traction, accumulating 4.8 million views, 130,000 likes, 5,600 shares, and 627 replies. This widespread attention is notable given that Billie Eilish's tour is set to commence shortly.

The tour follows the release of her album ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft’, which debuted in May and received a positive reception from fans worldwide. Tracks like ‘Birds Of A Feather’, ‘Blue’, ‘L’Amour De Ma Vie’, and ‘Buttersuit’ from the album have been particularly well-received and widely shared on social media.
