Doja Cat Appears to Have Revealed The Title of Her New Album

Doja Cat has taken to Twitter to tease a possible title for her upcoming fourth album. The artist teased on social media that the follow-up to 2021’s ‘Planet Her’ is due this year. After confirming that her fourth album already has a title, she tweeted “#hellmouth,” leading her fans to believe that is the title of the release.

The name seems appropriate given that her recent social media posts have featured devil-like outfits. She is no stranger to the theme of the underworld, having previously stated that she intends to do “weird a** shit” to intentionally fuel conspiracy theories about her involvement with the Illuminati.

Fans have also speculated on what genre the album will be. Doja previously stated that she wishes to create “raw, unfiltered, hardcore punk.”

“I want to explore punk,” she said, “but not pop-punk. I feel like we have enough pop-punk artists right now. And if there needs to be more, then let there be more, but I don’t think I’m the one to do it.”

She added: “I want to explore more of a raw, unfiltered, hardcore punk sort of thing. It’s just something that I’m doing for my own personal fun — getting some drummers and guitarists together. And I don’t even know if that’s gonna make it out there.”

The brand-new album is expected to drop later in 2023. In other news, Doja Cat was chosen by John Cena to appear on the official soundtrack of WWE 2K23. She also sang a cover of Beyonce’s ‘Drunk in Love’ while playing PowerWash Simulator.

Doja Cat first joined Twitch in 2021 to stream the horror game ‘Little Nightmares’ before using it to help her get through a level on INSIDE the following month. She’s streamed sporadically since then, usually announcing that she’s going live without warning.
